Surgeon-Link is a resource dedicated to innovation in surgical technology, it consists of three stand-alone environments, surgeons can participate in one, two or all three environments, each environment is totally secure and designed only for Surgeons.
The Social networking Portal is a secure environment purely for peer-to-peer communication amongst surgeons through a variety of media and applications. There are no external bodies involved in this environment and all discussions and up-loaded content is confidential.
Members can participate in market research studies; Consolidated data is provided to research sponsors, typically the manufacturers of Medical Devices. The data is provided anonymously as grouped information and no participants in the research are identified.
This innovative environment provides the opportunity for surgeons to communicate directly with selected manufacturers of medical devices. The focus of communication is on product innovation and the development of new products. The interactions within this environment are based on clear identification of surgeon and manufacturer. Although manufacturers cannot enter the product portal, the portal has links which enable direct communication with those featured manufacturers.
